Peace From The Hills CD Release
Fayetteville is home to a great artistic community, proof of that was the Peace From The Hills CD release party at Arsaga’s on Wednesday, January 26.
Peace From The Hills is a compilation of music and poetry by local Fayetteville artists intended to help support A Ride Till The End.
Arsaga’s was packed for the release of the 23-track compilation. Several artists featured in the compilation provided the entertainment of the night.
The disc features music by Strange Heroes, Candy Lee, Still on the Hill, Nick Masullo, Laura Kelly, Geoff Oelsner, Dan Dean, Emily Kaitz, Kenyon “The DAWN” Lowe, and Ramsey Sprague. As well as poetry by Stephen Coger, Dave Malm, Moshe Newmark, Doug Shields, Clayton Scott, and Mohja Kahf. Three-tour Afghanistan war veteran Jacob George, founder of A Ride Till The End, also contributed two poems and a song to the production.
The production is a great teaser for Fayetteville talent. If you’re not familiar with this funky town, you should definitely check out the compilation, which is available online here, here, and here. All proceeds will benefit A Ride Till The End.
