Lil Wayne, TI & 2 Chainz @ Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion

Sunday night is usually an evening to sit back, relax and get ready for your work week, but this past one was a bit different. Hip-hop heads from around the city made their way up to the Woodlands for a tour dubbed as “America’s Most Wanted,” featuring a slew of rappers, but namely T.I., 2 Chainz and the evenings headliner Lil Wayne. Since the shows at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion are usually a bit more family friendly, I’m not too sure if the folks that run the venue really knew what they were getting into by booking this one, but the night was upon us and away we went.

Read all about the show and check out a bunch of photos after the jump.

Smash Mouth, Sugar Ray, Gin Blossoms & Fastball @ Arena Theater

The “Under The Sun” tour made its way to Houston on Saturday, featuring Smash Mouth, Sugar Ray, Gin Blossoms and Fastball. I reviewed and photographed the show for the Houston Press, but had a plethora of photos left over I thought to share. To read my words, head over to Houston Press’ Rocks Off blog. Otherwise, check out the rest of my photos after the jump.

Heart & Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience @ Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion

Last Night, the Heartbreaker Tour hit the stage at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion featuring 70’s classic rockers Heart along with Jason Bonham, son of famed Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, with his Led Zeppelin Experience.

Going into the show I was a bit leery as aging rock acts are always hit or miss, but I love me some Heart so it was really no question on if I’d be in attendance. Thankfully I made it out, because it was pretty damn incredible.

Check out a bunch more words and photos as well as a link to my photos on Houston Press’ Rocks Off blog after the jump

We’re back!

Well, kind of… Breakfast On Tour will never be gone for good.

I know its been a long while since anything has been put on this trusty ol’ blog, but that’s going to change for the better starting right now. I’ve been super busy working my ass off for the Houston Press, shooting and reviewing shows for their Rocks Off blog. I’ve always had a working relationship with them, pretty much since the inception of BOT, but have gone full throttle over the past six months doing anything I can do to further my portfolio.

Unfortunately, the photos and words that I post there contractually can’t be put here other than through linkage, so that’s why BOT has been dormant for the past half a year. From here on out, though, I’m going to post photos that didn’t make the cut for the HP reviews (which there are tons of), and add a few words about how the show’s are with links to my work on Rocks Off. I hope to add more content outside of that, but for now that’s how I’m getting back into the swing of things.

It feels good to be back!

Stay tuned for photos from last night’s Heart and Jason Bonham show later in the day.
