All Points West Sunday
Submitted by eggs on Tue, 08/12/2008 - 01:16.The final day of the first annual(?) All Points West festival featured a much different vibe than the more indie-tastic Friday and Saturday. The big name on the bill was Jack Johnson, whose set featured sit-ins from both Trey Anastasio and Matt Costa, who had both performed with their own bands earlier in the day. Other performers during the jam-friendly Sunday included Rodrigo y Gabriela, Cat Power and Amadou and Mariam on the main stage, and The Secret Machines, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, and Rogue Wave holding down the other two. We wish we could have made it up to NYC for this event, but thankfully a whole bunch of other folks did.

Sasquatch! 2008 Lineup Released
Submitted by cereal on Mon, 02/25/2008 - 16:35.
This year's festival season just keeps getting better and better. The Sasquatch! Music Festival, which is set to take place May 24-26 at The Gorge in Washington, released its lineup today. Eggs and I have a particular interest in this festival because we named one of our feline friends after it, but have not yet been able to attend. After seeing this tasty musical menu, we're determined to work Sasquatch! into our festival itinerary this year.
Rothbury Festival Artist Additions, Round 1
Submitted by cereal on Mon, 02/25/2008 - 14:53.Breakfast On Tour has received confirmation that the following artist additions to Rothbury Festival's already solid lineup will be announced later today:
Rodrigo y Gabriela
Trampled By Turtles
The Wailers
The Mickey Hart Band feat. George Porter, Jr. and Steve Kimock
We've also heard a rumor that French electro-house gods Justice will be making an appearance at the festival. Edit: We're sad to say that the Justice rumor is false.
If you haven't seen Rothbury's full lineup (so far, anyway), head on over to their official website to check out the details. This is shaping up to be one hell of a party! Tickets go on sale at noon EST/11am CST Wednesday, February 27.
Stay tuned for more Rothbury-related news!
The Video Omelette: Dec 14, 2007
Submitted by eggs on Fri, 12/14/2007 - 06:06.With all the hype about Led Zeppelin the past couple weeks I thought it would be a good idea to feature some of my favorite artists covering some of their tunes. They have been a huge influence on many genres of music since the release of their 1969 self titled debut LP. Here are some unique takes on a few of Led Zeppelin's classics.
