Breakfast-Approved Shows: May 8-14

If you are planning on staying in town, and had big ideas of checking out a bunch of really good shows, I am sorry to inform you that there isn't really too much going on. Saturday at Last Concert Cafe, both Zwee and D.R.U.M will be performing after a day of Houston events including the Art Car Parade. Also on Saturday, Josh Wink will be spinning at Level and punk-rockers Pennywise will be playing at Warehouse Live. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday don't have much going on, but on Wednesday, The Cave Singers will be playing at Walter's On Washington.

We will be in Austin this weekend covering the first of a two night run by Wilco at the legendary Stubb's. Tickets are sold out, but I am sure you could find a deal on the street.

Don't worry about the lack of shows this week. You are going to need the rest for the mind-f*ck that Radiohead is gonna give out next Saturday (or Sunday in Dallas if you're like me and have a wedding to go to the day before).
