Last month, the Breakfast On Tour crew attended My Morning Jacket's show in Houston at Verizon Wireless Theater. During the show they played through many of their classics, but they also debuted 8 of the new songs from their yet-to-be-released album Evil Urges. We decided to capture all of those songs on video so that MMJ's die-hard fans could get a taste of what was in store for them upon the CD's release in June. As expected, those videos received a lot of attention! Apparently so much attention that it caused My Morning Jacket to release the title track off of their new album 2 months early.

Houston played host to My Morning Jacket and Yo La Tengo on March 10th, 2008. It was MMJ's first show since finishing up their new album, Evil Urges. It provided the opportunity for MMJ to showcase many of the songs off their upcoming disc.
