Flight of the Conchords @ Jones Hall

Flight of the Conchords made a stop by Houston's Jones Hall for a night of pant-wetting and awkwardness, depending on who's opinion you're listening too. BOT couldn't attend this one, but thankfully some diligent YouTube user decided to film most of the concert. From their robotic entry with "Too Many Dicks On The Dancefloor," to the final notes of "Bowie," FOTC proved that their versatility extends much further past their HBO series, and that they are truly at their best when performing to a live audience.

Too Many Dicks On The Dancefloor

Flight of the Conchords debuted their song "Too Many Dicks On The Dancefloor" on the Michel Gondry-directed fifth episode of their second season Sunday night – we have it here for you.

Absolutely hilarious – these guys are geniuses!

Flight Of The Conchords Spring Tour

On the heels of the second season premiere of their critically acclaimed HBO comedy, Flight Of The Conchords have released a significant chunk of tour dates that will keep them busy through the spring. Starting at Coral Gables, Florida's BankUnited Center on April 7th, they will be wending their way through the East and Midwest with a brief break after their April 28th show at Chicago's Arie Crown Theater. After two quick shows in Texas at Dallas' Nokia Theater and Houston's Jones Hall, the New Zealand-bred acoustic folk comedy duo will then tour the West throughout the month of May.

Flight Of The Conchords Season 2 Premiere

The long-awaited return of Flight of the Conchords to the Sunday night HBO rotation is finally upon us. For those of you who haven't yet checked out "New Zealand's fourth most popular guitar-based digi-bongo a capella-rap-funk-comedy folk duo," you've been missing out. If you don't have HBO, or are not going to be around the TV tonight, you still have a chance to check out the premiere, even before it happens. HBO is offering the first episode online via viral video, and we have it here for you.

The show starts tonight at 10pm ET/PT and continues for the next couple months in the same time slot. Among the many horrible, mind-rotting TV shows clogging the airwaves right now, Flight of the Conchords shines through with its witty brand of odd-ball humor. I highly recommend you start watching this show.

Flight Of The Conchords - Ladies Of The World

Check out the new video for the Flight Of The Conchords song "Ladies of the World". If you are new to FOTC, this is pretty much what you are going to get with their show on HBO. I can't wait until season two hits!

It's the rhythm of the movement of the feel of the wheel of the rhythm of the feeling!

New Flight Of The Conchords

Flight Of The Conchords, fresh off the release of their new album, hit the road for a brief tour which started two nights ago in Philadelphia at Tower Theatre. They have made it pretty far in the past two years, going from obscure musical-satirists to starring in their own HBO show, selling-out rooms throughout the U.S. and dumping A LOT of copies of their new album. I keep hearing that the fans at their live shows are as rabid as Beatles fans, which is a major comparison in my eyes. I would love to see these guys, but to keep it fresh they can't play too many shows. Hopefully they will make it a point to tour the south later in the year.

They debuted two songs last night at their first-of-two shows in New York at Town Hall, and some smart person decided to film them (sound quality is decent at best, but you can still get the gist of the songs):

This year's festival season just keeps getting better and better. The Sasquatch! Music Festival, which is set to take place May 24-26 at The Gorge in Washington, released its lineup today. Eggs and I have a particular interest in this festival because we named one of our feline friends after it, but have not yet been able to attend. After seeing this tasty musical menu, we're determined to work Sasquatch! into our festival itinerary this year.
