TV on the Radio Leaks Bonnaroo Lineup

Superfly Productions and A.C. Entertainment are excited to announce the initial lineup for the 2009 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. The eighth annual four-day camping and music festival will be held on June 11 - 14 on the same beautiful 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tennessee, 60 miles south of Nashville. Every year Bonnaroo seeks to make history by offering unique and exclusive performances by rock’s greatest legends as well as its most significant newcomers. A full list of confirmed acts follows, and more will be announced in the coming weeks. The final Bonnaroo 2009 lineup will total over 120 bands and over 20 comedians performing on 13 stages over four days. Tickets go on sale exclusively through www.bonnaroo.com on Saturday, February 7 at 12:00 PM Eastern.

I think this lineup has tipped the scales. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be making my first trip to Manchester, TN this summer.

Just not a Langerado this year, which sucks, it looked like a pretty good lineup.

Langerado was lacking legit headliners, but overall the bill looked nice. With Phish playing their reunion shows that same weekend, though, I'm sure ticket sales were quite shitty. We were even thinking on flying out to Miami to cover it. Oh well, after seeing that Bonnaroo line-up, Langerado didn't look nearly as fun.

Come! Do it. We're pre-partying at the Knoxville show the day before Roo, then driving down to Manchester on Thursday morning. It'll be a hell of a way to spend the middle of June. Come!!

I did that intentionally...rhyming is fun! Agreed about the lineup - I've never been terribly interested in attending Bonnaroo in the past, but this year's lineup elevates the fest to can't-miss status for me.
Ugh - wish I could go to Mule/Bisco, but I don't think it's gonna happen for me. I have to be at work at 4am on Sunday, and I learned firsthand this past week that it's a terrible idea to attempt to go to a show before going to work that early. I think Jim might still go, but I'm not sure. Any interest in going to Rudyard's tomorrow? The Appleseed Cast are playing.
