Saturday Night Live took it indie last night, featuring Ellen Page as host and Wilco as musical guest. Wilco’s a favorite in the BOThead camp – Toast is even flying down to Houston for their March 7th show here...hopefully. The thing is, we kind of neglected to buy tickets as early as we apparently should have. We simply didn’t think they’d sell out until closer to the day of the show. Houston, you surprised us! It’s great to know that they have a solid following down here, though. Eggs managed to score two tickets to the show a couple of days ago for slightly more than the original face value, and he’s currently in an auction for two more for Toast and his girl. So please send good vibes our way! :)

Anyway, one of the songs Wilco performed on SNL was "Hate It Here" from their most recent LP Sky Blue Sky. Check out the clip:

The band also played "Walken", but at the time of this posting I was unable to locate a clip of that performance. I'll add one when I find one.

If you were lucky enough (or proactive enough, I guess) to snag tickets to Wilco's Houston show, we'll see you there! Maybe.
